Read up on the holiday. It commemorates a particular battle. I mistakenly thought this was Mexican Independence Day. Turns out this history buff needs more buffing. That's ok. My husband insists that Cinco de Mayo is a fifth of mayonaise. I like his version better.
Anyway, make yourself a margarita, put on a sombrero, and dig out your favorite poncho. Happy 5th of May.
